The Oklahoma Solar Summit is a place-based, agriculture-first gathering laser-focused on how solar development intersects with working lands and impacts local farms, ranches, water resources, ecosystems, and long-term land stewardship.
Rather than broad national conversations, this state-centric summit squares up to Oklahoma current conditions directly—good, bad, ugly and awesome—so landowners, communities, project stakeholders, policymakers and all Oklahomans are able to better understand the "agrivoltaics" and "ecovoltaics" opportunity to effectively double the harvest with "dual-use" solar farms.
Part of the larger Solar Farm Summit community, thousands of attendees across the country have attended our national expo and state conferences. Uncommonly collaborative and unusually interdisciplinary, new attendees will discover folks of all kinds and at all levels of knowledge as well as a powerfully constructive, can-do energy in the audience. And we're proud of the SFS community's growing reputation for robust objectivity, hard brainstorming and real troubleshooting—as well as the groundbreaking efforts of so many of its members.
Similarily, the Oklahoma Solar Summit is built for learning, listening, and problem-solving, not promotion.
Solar Farm Summit is an education-first platform focused on responsible ground-mount solar, agrivoltaics, and ecovoltaics development. We convene farmers, developers, researchers, and communities to explore how energy and land stewardship can coexist when projects are designed more thoughtfully.
